PPIC Supervisor

Key Responsibilities :

Create detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacities, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to gather accurate demand data and adjust production plans accordingly.
Ensure that resources (labor, raw materials, machinery) are allocated effectively and in line with production needs.
Assess the refinery's production capacity and ensure the team adheres to production targets without compromising quality or safety.
Track raw material inventory levels (e.g., crude palm oil, chemicals, etc.) and ensure stock availability to prevent production delays.
Work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished goods, preventing both stockouts and overstock situations.
Supervise daily production activities, ensuring production targets are met and any disruptions or delays are quickly addressed.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify opportunities for improving production processes, increasing throughput, and reducing waste.
Prepare and submit regular production and inventory reports to senior management, highlighting performance, inventory status, and any production issues.

Job Requirement :

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or a related field, ideally in a palm oil refinery or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of palm oil refining processes, supply chain management, and inventory control principles
Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
