HSE Superintendent

Job Description :

Implement and develop a Safety Management System to ensure safety norms are implemented properly so that work accidents, fires and property damage can be avoided
Ensure and review the implementation of safety procedures and check safety support facilities in the workplace to ensure readiness in emergency response conditions
Lead and monitor safety officers in implementing safety practices in the field in order to assess safety implementation in the workplace
Coordination with Chief Safety and Management Team in all department to implementation safety rules and Procedures
Ensure safety objective or key Performance indicator, and safety program are well implementation
Ensure government regulation of safety/ environment are compliance and follow as standards
Follow up corrective action plan of internal and external safety audit findings to related department
Periodically report the progress of safety program and key issues to chief safety and Management Team
Conducted safety investigation regarding accident or incident and communicated the information and report to Chief safety and team
Ensure safety inspection program, emergency situation and coordination, and monitoring all safety equipment are in good condition and ready to use in case of emergency situation
Responsibility for carrying out in handling emergency situation and coordination with other emergency response team member
Conduct and organize safety training / workshop for new employees, daily worker and contractor
Conduct periodically safety committee meeting, and attend safety coordination meeting
Follow up the unsafe action, unsafe condition and potential hazard and communicate to Chief Safety and Management Team

Requirements :

Bachelor Degree majoring Engineering, safety or related major preferred
5 – 7 years experience as HSE Superintendent in manufacture industry
Have good communication skills in English both oral and written
Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner
Physically and mentally health
The detail-oriented, proactive, critical, analytical, and logical approach to problem-solving
Highly motivated, strong team player, with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary
Computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Familiar with SAP system
Understanding SMK3 system, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP, and Halal Assurance System HAS 23000
Willing to be placed in Medan KIM 2
