UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.

Posisi :

Assistant Manager Dry Fractionation and Tank Farm Production

Job Description

Ensuring that all activities carried out comply with the requirements for quality, food safety, feed safety, environment, occupational safety and health.
Coordination with other departments to ensure that raw materials, repairs, product quality and delivery can be achieved on schedule.
Setting up production department in Stage - Workforce hiring plan, work assignment & setting job expectation.
Carry out and be responsible for developing subordinate competencies through training, on work plans, job training, to achieve training hours.
Review plant performance as required, to detect the possibility that any targets may not be achieved and take the correct measurements.
Plan shutdown scheduling and any repairs performed during shutdown.
Evaluate the performance of production and products produced as well as make improvements and regulate operational conditions to ensure the quantity and quality of products are met.
Make an environmental and safety impact analysis and create and maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment at all times.
Make the right decisions on operational issues to avoid accidents, equipment damage and lost production time.
Proactive in implementing management systems related to quality, environment, food safety, halal, kosher, work safety or other systems as well as productivity improvement programs implemented by the company.
Inform Manufacturing Manager and co-workers in case of emergencies or potentially hazardous situations.

Job Qualifications

Min. Bachelor's Degree in relevant area.
At least 5 years experience in Dry Fractionation plant and Tank Farm management.
Have basic knowledge about ISO 9001; Sistem Jaminan Halal, Kosher, FSSC 22000, GMP+B2, ISO14000, ISO 45001 and SAP.
Able to operate computer Ms. Office (Word, Excel).
Able to communicate in English, both verbal & writing.
Have interpersonal competence and good communication.
Able to work with minimum supervision.
