UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.

Procurement MRO

Job Description

Receiving and Proceeding requests of equipment, parts, and services MRO primarily for Marvel 2 Plant (Fatty Acid 2, Mega Soap, Hydrogenation, Refinery, Engineering) but not just limited to these dept. It also includes improvement project and collaboration new technology.
Understand business requirements and demand patterns and align to cost saving strategies. (include conducting cost spending analysis.
Identify and develop improved procurement methodologies, processes, policies, and procedures.
Responsible to ensure that the material received is in accordance with quality and quantity.
Negotiate and manage contracts / NDA, including the development and implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that deliver value and drive continuous improvement.
Developing and maintaining internal stakeholder relationships, and engaging plant stakeholders and Suppliers to monitor and resolve any issues at the plant level.
Conducting supplier evaluation and maintain the result data h) Maintain data for any project progress and cost saving achievements.
Ensure that outgoing communication documents are well received by external providers.
Running GMP procedures consistently.
Running ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 procedures consistently.
Responsible for workplace safety and environmental protection.

Job Qualifications

Min. Bachelor Degree in relevant area.
Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role for 2-3 years.
Fluent in English, both writing & speaking.
