Our customer base is primarily international breeders and professional growers in Europe, USA & Asia Pacific.

Our state-of-art laboratories and experienced team produce over 18 million micro-cuttings units annually. This figure is growing steadily, as we continue to expand our facilities and services.

Posisi :

QC Manager (Plant Tissue Culture)

Deskripsi Pekerjaan

A. Main Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee production of all plant varieties to meet production target and to provide high quality production to meet customers’ expectations.
• Implement company protocols for micropropagation of plants.
• Supervise daily QC activities and ensure that QC processes align and support product specification and specific customer requirements.
• Provide advice to production department related to production quality issues.
• Collaborate with production on methods that will bring “out of specification” product into “on specification”.
• Follow-up on equipment maintenance schedules including laminar flow, autoclaves machines, and all other equipment.
• Follow-up on equipment calibration schedule of laboratory and production equipment such as digital scale, thermometer, particle counter, and all other equipment.
• Maintain and control hygienic environment for laboratory.
• Develops goals and plans for quality improvement.
• Perform any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by Management.

B. Raw Materials

• Ensure that all raw materials are received in accordance with the standards.
• Identifies raw material substitutions for improvement or cost improvements.
• Collaborate with purchasing in reviewing proposed raw materials to ensure that they meet specifications.
• Issues non-conformances to suppliers for raw materials, products and/or services that are not in conformance with Company requirements.

C. Management Systems

• Create and implement QC Laboratory SOPs, WI and Management Programs
• Collaborate with Customer Relation Manager to follow-up customer complaint with preventive and corrective actions.
• Maintain an effective calibration program.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, science, Biotechnology, Plant Biology, Plant Science, botany or in a related field.
• Experience in plants tissue culture micropropagation techniques Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Plant tissue culture industry
• Preferred experience in Ornamental plants.
• 5+ years related management experience in a commercial tissue culture lab.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills essential for working across multi-functional teams.
• Excellent control and audit of highly hygienic environment
