UOI is one of the biggest Olechemical factories in the world and has been built on an area of 18 hectares, located in Special Economic Zone (KEK) Sei Mangkei, Blok M, N, R, S Huta VI District of Bosar Maligas, Simalungun, North Sumatra, Indonesia, where 30% of equipment manufacturers using domestic products, the plant is designed to process CPKO (Crude Palm Kernel Oil) and 95% of the products will be used by Unilever factories around the world.

Posisi :

ASSISTANT MANAGER OUTBOND LOGISTICS

Main Job Purpose

Managing all aspect of Outbound Logistics operation starting Pre-shipment booking freight via Inland, Sea , Air, supporting document for cargo and shipment cost.
Manage and oversee the scheduling of Bulk distribution plan in accordance with the received Unilever supply chain globally. Ensure that the local distribution of all bulk product and international movement is managed against On Time in Full targets.
To identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within the Bulk Logistics framework, to support strategic project implementation and facilitate change initiatives as required.
To ensure that Logistics Service Providers are operating in accordance with Unilever's policies, procedures, applicable regulations and legislation as well as internal safety objectives.

Responsibility and Authority :

Responsible to book the shipment booking as sign off dispatch target;
Responsible for controlling document , ensuring no overdue document, no shipment complaint due to delaying document to costumer;
Responsible for billing dispatch process and ensuring no discrepancy actual with SAP billing process;
Supervise shipment cost, ensuring no overdue payment and no discrepancy from invoicing with rate card dealing;
Responsible to ensure dispatch operation goes well;
Responsible and leading costumer complaint about outbound logistics and insurance claim.
Demmurage: to minimize demmurage of Bulk Vessel at Origin and Destination port.

Qualifications :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree with all major;
Minimum 3 years’ demonstrated experience in bulk distribution, import and export management;
Demonstrated experience in Oleochemical industry is preferred;
Good communication skills and English command (able to communicate and deal with all levels).
Committed to work and completed tasks within the deadline given.
Flexible, dynamic, strong minded and detail-orientated
Proficiency in MS Office;
Mastering the SAP system;
Able and know the inventory management system;
Good analytical skill in import and oil process;
Able to process data accurately;
Good knowledge in bonded zone;
Have basic knowledge about ISO 9001, Sistem Jaminan Halal, Kosher, FSSC 22000, GMP+B2, ISO 45001 : 2018;
Has high integrity, honest, motivated, good interpersonal distinguished themselves and can work in a team or individual;
Willing to be place in Sei Mangkei, Kabupaten Simalungun.
